DID YOU KNOW?
Our retired Jellies when sold over the RRP, the funds generated allow us to donate Mood Bears to local schools, nurseries, nurture groups, charities, bereavement and trauma counselling services and therapy centres.
Mood Bears are ideal companions for educational environments, therapy sessions and homes, helping promote mental health awareness and emotional interlligence in children and adults alike.
Pictured are bears recently donated to The Burgh Primary School, Galashiels.
To date we have supplied Mood Bears worth over £2000 to local primary schools, nurseries and to the local branch of the charity Children 1st, bereavement and counselling services.
The fund was recently boosted the newly retired Fuddlewuddle Elephant and the discovery in a box of a few fairly sought after other friends, this has facilitated the distribution to some of the groups on our waiting list. We are about to make our final donations for this collection of Mood Bears as we have no more and therefore at this time are unable to open our waiting list up.
Our bears sell at £12.95 for the small and £22.95 for the large in store, once all of the bears are donated it will be over £2700!! This significant donation is all made possible by our wonderful Jellycat customers buying our retired Jellies, so thank you!
OUR BEAUTIFUL TOWN
Bank Street Gardens
Why don’t you sit a while in our beautiful gardens. We are so lucky to be situated opposite the Bank Street Gardens, once allotments for the houses opposite which were above the shops of the street, the gardens were donated to the town and converted to formal gardens just after the Second World War. There is a fabulous little ice cream and coffee take away place, Affogato Joe’s at No.30 Bank Street serves coffee Roasted on Bank Street by Luckie Beans and the famous Giacopazzi’s of Eyemouth ice cream. Grab some deliciousness and head over to one of the benches in the gardens to watch the world go by - currently closed for winter, Affogato Joe’s will reopen in Spring.
